- •Infection control, safety/emergency, and vital signs are the highest-yield topics — master standard precautions, hand hygiene, and the normal vital-sign ranges.
- •Residents' rights, abuse/neglect reporting, and scope of practice come up often — when in doubt, report to the nurse and never exceed your role.
- •The real written test is in English. Use the Chinese / Spanish explanations to learn the material, and learn the key English nursing terms — you'll see them on the test.

🗺️ What language is the real written test in?
English is available nationwide. A few states/vendors also offer the WRITTEN test in Spanish, and Massachusetts offers it in Chinese and Haitian Creole. In most NNAAP states, Spanish is available only as an ORAL exam (read aloud) — not a Spanish written test. Our Chinese & Spanish explanations are a learning aid; you should also learn the English nursing terms.

Về độ khó, bài thi viết (written test) nhìn chung có thể vượt qua, nhưng bài thi kỹ năng (skills test) mới là nơi căng thẳng dâng cao: thí sinh thường vấp nhất ở các bước kỹ năng cụ thể — đếm mạch quay «radial pulse», vệ sinh tay và các mục chăm sóc gián tiếp — nơi chỉ cần một bước sai thứ tự là trượt kỹ năng đó. Về quy trình, kỳ thi gồm hai phần (thi viết + thi kỹ năng), được tổ chức qua các nhà cung cấp như Prometric hoặc Credentia (tùy theo bang); phần kỹ năng chọn ngẫu nhiên khoảng năm kỹ năng thực hành và chấm điểm theo từng bước, và vượt qua sẽ được đưa vào danh bạ đăng ký của bang (state registry). Về ôn thi, lời khuyên nhất quán là học thuộc các bước của từng kỹ năng và luyện nói to theo một bảng kiểm (checklist), dùng câu hỏi luyện tập chính thức và các hướng dẫn thao tác (how-to guides) của nhà cung cấp; và vì một số bang cho thi viết bằng nhiều ngôn ngữ, người không phải bản ngữ tiếng Anh nên dùng thêm tài liệu học bằng tiếng mẹ đẻ bên cạnh các tùy chọn ngôn ngữ thi chính thức của bang mình.
