    At the restaurant, give the customer's name.

  • Is the DoorDash order ready yet?

    Ask whether the order is ready.

Paying with the Red Card

  • I need to pay with my Red Card for this order.

    For shop-and-deliver orders, you pay with the platform Red Card.

Reaching the customer

  • Hi, this is your DoorDash driver — I'm outside with your food.

    Tell the customer you've arrived.

  • Your order says hand it to me — could you come to the door?

    For hand-it-to-me orders, ask them to come out.

Getting into the building

  • I'm delivering food — can you buzz me into the building?

    Ask to be buzzed in for a delivery.

Completing the delivery

  • I'll leave it at your door and send you a photo.

    No-contact drop with a photo.

Contacting support and ratings

  • The restaurant is closed — what should I do with this order?

    Restaurant closed → ask support how to proceed.

  • The customer isn't answering — I've waited the required time.

    No-contact after the required wait.

  • I got a bad rating for a late order that wasn't my fault — can I dispute it?

    Dispute an unfair rating.
