What it looks like
A downward-pointing triangle with a wide red border and a white interior, containing the word YIELD in red letters.
When you'll see it
Found at intersections, freeway on-ramps, roundabout entrances, and merge points where your traffic stream must give way to another.
What to do
Slow down and give the right-of-way to approaching traffic and to pedestrians, stopping completely if that is what safety requires.
