The New-York-specific law layer of the real estate Salesperson exam — Real Property Law Article 12-A (license law) and §443 (agency), 19 NYCRR Part 175 (DOS regulations), the NY Human Rights Law (Executive Law §296), the Property Condition Disclosure Act (RPL Article 14), and NY tax/estate/lease law. New York gives one combined 75-question exam (national/general material + New York law), administered by the NY Department of State (DOS); the general half is in our National Real Estate bank, and this bank covers the New-York-law layer. The exam is administered in English — Chinese and Spanish here are study aids only and do not change the official test language.
