There is a bump in the road ahead; slow down.

What it looks like

A yellow diamond warning sign with the black word BUMP or a raised-pavement symbol to warn of a bump in the road ahead.

When you'll see it

You meet it before a sharp rise or rough spot in the pavement, such as a railroad hump, patched surface, or speed hump.

What to do

Slow down before the bump so you can cross it smoothly and keep control of your vehicle.
