What it looks like

When you'll see it
On rural and secondary roads ahead of a short, abrupt low spot in the pavement, often where the road dips through a drainage channel or gully.
What to do
Slow down before you reach the dip so you keep control and avoid bottoming out; watch for water pooling in the low spot during rain.
