The road surface ahead is uneven or broken; slow down to keep control and avoid vehicle damage.
What it looks like
A yellow diamond-shaped warning sign with a black legend reading ROUGH ROAD or a symbol showing a broken, uneven surface.
When you'll see it
On stretches of road with potholes, cracks, or deteriorated pavement, common on older roads and near construction.
What to do
Slow down to keep control and reduce the risk of vehicle damage over the uneven surface.
